July 2018 ~ Union County

We continue our Ten-Week Golf Semester this Saturday morning, July 21 @ 10:00 at the Lions Club Golf Course.  We will be looking for you.

We have already had a number of special events and Day Trips this summer.   Check out the things that are still coming up -

SAJG Match Play Tournament Week              July 30 - August 3
PREPGolf; Special guest ~ College golfer       Aug. 4

Be sure to pay $100 for summer access at the Lions Club
PREPGolf players - Thurs. @ 4:00 pm.   El Dorado Country Club

PREPGolf -

Saturday morning, August 4 we have a college golfer from Texas who will lead our session and play with us.  Continue setting up lessons with Head Pro Garrett Kent at the El Dorado Country Club or any teaching pro you select in the region.  Working regularly with a golf pro is expected of all PREPGolf players and an important part of your continued development.

Our last SAJG event, the Jimmy Howard Tournament of Champions at Mystic Creek Golf Club was held on Monday, July 16 in El Dorado.  The 2019 tournament series season will begin next January.   See our KidsNGolf Facebook page for results and photos.

DRIVE, CHIP and PUTT -

Our south Arkansas KidsNGolf players did very well at Burns Park Golf Course in North Little Rock last Wednesday, July 18, 2018.   Qualifying for next month's Drive, Chip and Putt regional in Tulsa were Hope Walthall, Ryan Burns and Tori Milton of our Ashley County/Crossett KidsNGolf group.  Congratulations to all three.   See our KidsNGolf Facebook page for results and photos.

At the start of each golf semester, be sure to take care of the quarterly $25 range ball fee.  It helps us cover our costs for course access and driving range balls. You can pay these online or at the course on Saturday morning.

Our Facebook page always has photos and information about recent events and tournaments.    Be sure to regularly check-it-out.  Read it, enjoy it, and add to it.   KNG Facebook
